Tigers of the Year of Tiger

Everyone who watches TVs these days will know that our country’s Tiger team has finally won the AFF Cup after competing for it for 14 years. Their success is splash across every newspaper. The commercials are repetitively broadcasting the moment their scored the goals. Hurrah.*Sarcasm*

Seriously, I don’t know why they are making such a big thing out of it. It’s just a group of people who kicked the ball between two metal poles with a Keeper keeping the ball out. I know it is suppose to be sportsmanship, national pride and everything. But come on, it has been almost a week since that happened. Let it rest will you?!

Of course, being the true Malaysian, people went buying the jerseys with the names of the guys who scored. Seriously, what are trying to achieve by doing that?

Ok, ok, I know it’s just me who live in a room full of books in my own fantasy land, not understanding ‘true’ sportsmanship. However, undeniably, the aftermath of the winning is just too much.
